Photo of the Day- March 7th - Seals
It was pouring rain so we decided to drive home instead of spending the day in San Diego. On our way out, we quickly stopped by the coast so Rob could see the seals. There were tons of them out, including many very large, very pregnant, momma seals. 
As we were just about to get into the car, I hear a lady say, "here one comes!" . So, I grabbed my camera and went over to see just as a baby seal was born. It was very cool to see, and such great timing.

I can't believe you captured the actual birth of a seal! That is amazing and truly once in a lifetime for sure! How lucky! Now that's some birth photography at its finest! :)

Dang I really miss seal beach and La Jolla! I went there so many times when we lived there but never saw a seal being born. Very cool!
