Photo of the Day- Bake Sale
Robbie's tiger scout troop participated today in a bake sale as a service project for the holidays. They were able to raise money to benefit children with cancer. We did this for Cookies for Kids. GLAD company also matched every dollar that the boys made so in total we were able to donate over $1000 to the organization!! We were very lucky to have lots of very kind and generous people visit our bake sale. Some of which had recently lost members of their family to cancer or were cancer survivors themselves. The boys had a lot of fun and really enjoyed being part of something so important.
A few fireman came to the grocery store to buy a few things. They were so kind and willing to help. They bought lots of cookies, gave the kids Jr. Fireman stickers and even gave them a tour of their truck!

You are doing such a great job capturing these memorable activities of your children. Good for your son to participate in collecting for a very worthy cause.

What a great thing they id, raising that money. Looks like they had a great time doing it as well.
